Various announcements

In between these events listed at left,
particularly 2001-2005, RAC members were never idle. If they were not
running city street stalls, handing out leaflets and urging passers-by
to become involved in the campaign, they were shaking buckets at concerts
given by Michael Franti or John Butler. RAC(Vic) extends its eternal gratitude
to these artists for urging their audiences to make very generous donations
to our campaign.
Meanwhile, the refugees
themselves kept up their own protests - by sleeping on the roof of their
compounds, or whatever else they could manage within the limits of their
very restricted situations.
